On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, a fire broke out in an adjoining unit where our IO Earth HQ was located. The fire spread rapidly, engulfing our beloved studio and reducing it to ashes. Sixteen years of relentless hard work, dreams, and creativity vanished in an instant. Our studio equipment, merchandise stock, and a cherished collection of musical instruments – guitars, drums, keyboards, and more – were all destroyed.
The impact of this tragedy is profound, both emotionally and financially. However, in the wake of this loss, we are determined to rebuild and continue our musical journey.
In the days following the fire, we launched a GoFundMe campaign to begin replacing everything we lost and to start rebuilding a new studio in a new location. All proceeds from the campaign and a special T-Shirt we’ve designed will go towards our efforts to bring IO Earth back to life.
