Dave and Adam have been longtime admirers of legendary guitarist and composer Mike Keneally, known for his work with Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, and countless other musical icons. So when the opportunity to share the stage with him at ProgStock 2024 presented itself, they seized it without hesitation.
Eager to make the moment truly special, Dave reached out to Mike and invited him to join them onstage for a performance of “Home” — a powerful track from IO Earth’s debut album. The result was a memorable and emotional rendition that left both the band and the audience deeply moved.
“Playing with Mike Keneally was an absolute honour,” said Dave. “He brought a whole new depth to the song. It felt like the music was breathing in a new way — truly inspiring.”
